Summer Reading Ideas for your Kids
I wish I had known about these publications when my kids were little. So today, I am sharing them with you.
1.. Keys for Kids - https://www.keysforkids.org/
2. Unlocked – Both daily devotionals can be found at the Keys of Kids website. This ministry has been around since the 1950s and they have archived TV footage from that era. Today they have multiple resources for families. My two favorites are these. Keys for kids engages children 6-12 year olds with daily stories about children learning to follow Jesus in everyday life. Many parents use this for their family devotions. Unlocked is the teen version with daily devotions focused on the gospel message. What a refreshing alternative to the other magazines our teens could subscribe to.
3. Focus on the Family also has magazines for children - https://store.focusonthefamily.com/kids-magazines/
4. Club House for ages 8-12. It’s a monthly magazine full of stories, puzzles, games, and captivating art, all with Jesus at the center.
5. Club House Jr. is a similar monthly magazine for children ages 3-7 years old.
6. Her Story, Her Strength by Sarah Parker Rubio. - https://www.amazon.com/stores/author/B07VTQT1HZ For those of you with daughters, this book highlights 50 God-empowered women of the Bible. Encouraging our girls to find their identity and purpose in Him.
Enjoy your summer!
